We played the championship course and what a gem, fantastic layout, great condition and true green considering the amount of rain in the last 2-3 weeks. The clubhouse is fairly decent as is the food / drink. Some challenging holes with a mixture of narrow fairways, doglegs etc. Personally, felt the 17th 620 yard plus for amateur golf is a slight overkill and one that can destroy the scorecard. Overall a wonderful experience and will certainly return one day.

Played the course at the start of April and had been looking forward to it. Unfortunately, the weather had decided to step in and deluge the south coast with a helping of rain. The course had been closed to try and save the fairways for the weekend, but I found that it would have been better if it had been kept closed.
At the end of the round, I felt extremely disappointed, with too many plugged balls and soggy ground to make it feel worth the ticket. The only upside of the day was the greens, which were in good condition.
If the weather had been kinder, it would have made this course live up to expectations. I'd probably try and play the course when it was a lot warmer

Beautiful views whilst playing on a beautifully kept course. Greens in September were exceptional. Nice wide course so very forgiving. Some nice long par fours and tricky par threes. Not that hard a course but very enjoyable.
Restaurant, cafe and bar are very nice. The staff throughout were very nice and friendly.
Hotel looks like a lovely place to stay.
We had a day of rain, so must visit again in better weather!
All round good place to visit.

Great golf course with lots of beautiful views. Very good use of water features make for some tricky holes.
Lovely clubhouse and bar area with real log burner make for cosey dining on good food.
Course was in good condition with only a few winter tees and roped off areas.
All greens were in play but most unfortunately frozen when we played.

Played the championship course on the 8th of April the greens were fine but I’m afraid the course should not be open , they took our money there were temporary tees on every hole witch we were not told about the fairways were so wet that when the ball landed iit was plugged and lost , for this reason I give only 2 stars , in the summer this course is a must play..

Stopped here for breakfast when staying in the on-site lodging. Breakfast was good, but expensive for what we got, even compared to other golf clubs. Beautiful view and friendly staff.

Overall good vibes, nice staff. Rated only.3 due to poor cleaning, and a bad coffee. Probably a great place for a drink in the summer, and fantastic for golfers. We stopped for a drink - my partner had a beer, I ordered a coffee. The coffee was so light and flavourless, I had to ask them for another one. I got my second coffee, a double espresso ina huge mug... still not impressed with it, but the staff was very kind and tried to improve my experience, at least.
I like the vintage look of the restaurant bathroom, and the converted stools.

Special place to play golf. Totally destroyed and demoralised me. But lovely never the less, a mature and well maintained course. Great staff and atmosphere. The greens are immaculate.
